               PHYSICAL EDUCATION


               SPORTS /GAMES


               For a true integrated growth to take place, our children’s physical
               well-being  is a  must  as a  sound  body will have sound  mind.  A very
               systematically  developed    sports   facilities  including  indoor   and
               outdoor activities are envisioned for development in the best
               interests of the students.


               Students learn more positive spirit,  team work,  sportsmanship,
               development  of communication skills and  emotional  balance from
               sports   activities.  The   reward    of   hard    work,   self-discipline,
               self-confidence  and  development  of  skills to  handle competitive
               situations are learnt through this.

               The  physical education  curriculum is  designed  according  to  the
               models recommended for different age groups  where emphasis is laid on
               the development of motor skills, physical stamina, flexibility, balance and
               strength for the development of team spirit. Team accomplishments
               compliment  individual  goals.  When students talk  compellingly about  the
               challenges they overcome together,  we can inspire them to  keep
               reaching for ambitious goals.


               Indoor activities / games like Yoga, Meditation, Karate, Table Tennis, Chess,
               Carrom and Swimming will be offered to the students in a phased manner.
               Outdoor  games like Basketball,  Football,  Volleyball,  Kabaddi,  Skating,
               Badminton, Track and Field events form a part of the sports programme.
